Green Peas Pulao
Ingredients
- Basmati Rice
- Green Peas
- Garam Masala
- Turmeric powder
- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Bay leaf
- Coriander powder
- Biriyani masala
- Salt
- Oil
- Cumin seeds
- Coriander
- Mint leaves
- Coconut milk
- Onion
- Green chillies
- Ginger garlic paste
- Butter
- Cashewnuts
Add a spoon of butter and one spoon of oil.Add cumin seeds,onion,green chillies,spices and sautee them for few minutes.Add ginger garlic paste and few leaves of mint and coriander leaves.After minute or so just add all the masalas(garam masala,turmeric powder,pinch of biriyani masala,coriander powder) and keep sauteeing till the smell of the masalas subsides.Add the green peas and mix all the ingredients together.Add cocunut milk in d ratio of 2 cups to 1 cup of rice.Water can be used instead of cocunut milk in the same ratio.Salt to taste.Rice is cleaned and added.The ingredients are mixed well and left undisturbed for 12 mins in a low to medium flame.Garnished with coriander,mint leaves and deep fried cashewnuts.
